I'm looking for a new mouse, after my 2 year ole' Razer Diamondback gave up on me. So right now, I'm torn between these two choices. I game casually, so I would think the Deathadder is a better choice for me, but the wireless is a plus too.

The price at which I can get these two are about the same, so it's out of the equation. The diamondback 3G is going at a cheaper price, and were it not for the better ergonomics of the VX Revolution and the Deathadder, I'll have gone for that already!

    Any ideas guys?

I tried the VX at a BestBuy store right before picking up my DeathAdder. I already had my mind set up for the Razer, but I thought I'd at least try the VX.

Needless to say, the Razer is just great, feels awesome in the hand and it's very comfortable.

I've pretty much decided on the Deathadder too, but if the VX Revolution can perform just as well, why not get that too? The wireless sounds nice.

It's up to you, whether you prefer the DPI, the grip of the deathadder, etc. It's kind of apples to oranges comparing the VX revolution to the deathadder though. On one hand, the VX revolution is small and compact for mobile use and tends more towards use for work. On the other hand the deathadder is pretty big (its for palm grippers) and has nice dpi + buttons, plus you won't suffer wireless lag.

I tried out the deathadder, but I returned it. I am a claw gripper... we didn't match lol. It was pretty comfortable though, although for some odd reason I felt some burning on the palm of my hand. It might have been from the light int here or just getting accustomed to a new mouse, weird and shouldn't be happening either way. I bought a Logitech G9 after it. It was so much better for me.

I also plan to purchase a VX nano for my notebook and on the go, while the G9 for gaming.

as a vx revolution owner needless to say its great!! its a great little mouse I can use it for hours and my hand isnt aching and also the battery life is great! i use it around 8 hours a day and the battery at the max last for 2 months maybe more if you wont use it as much.
but if youre more into gaming id go for the deathadder

    Exactly the same thoughts here.
