Try reinstalling your SetPoint software, maybe check for an updated version.

Look for an update to the Logitech drivers, and the SetPoint software.

I have a question about this mouse, but not with the same problem. Whenever I try to scroll in IE, it only scrolls a couple of lines no matter the setting, and I end up having to scroll A LOT for it to go. But I do not have this problem in Firefox, Word, or other programs. Anyone have experience with this?

I don't use IE very much, but I am pretty sure that this doesn't happen to me. Is scrolling normal for other mice?

Yeah. I had a MX 510 before and it worked fine.

Again, try looking for upgraded drivers. Probably re-install yours, if yours is the latest.
