Any users of Verizons' ExpressNetwork (RTT) or their National Broadband (EVO)? I currently use the ExpressNetwork and have my issues. Primarily speed. While it's advertised that you can get bursts of up to 114kbs, mine are ususally in the 70kbs range. It's a good service to check e-mail and look at a web page, but not much more. VZ has announced that they will be upgrading major metro areas, starting in the summer, to the new EVO network. That's advertised to offer higher speeds in the broadband range. The immediate advantage I see is more usefullness (Usenet, FTP, video conferencing, VoIP); but I've read that the cards can only be used for data and will not support voice, like the current RTT network/access cards. Was wondering really if anyone has used the EVO network and what your opinions are?
