Hello, I bought some verbatim dual layer dvd+r 's today, I've been having a lot of problems with TDK and heard good things about verbatim.
My question is, are they recordable or rewriteable? On the package, it says Dvd+R Dual Layer, but there's that tiny RW label at the very bottom of the packaging.
Nero doesn't recognize it as RW, and I looked at the bottom for the "vinyl pattern" (looks like a record where the data was recorded) and it has that.
So although I'm almost sure it's just recordable, I'm still a little unsure.
Here's a picture of exactly what I got...

Notice the little RW logo at the bottom left. It seems all verbatims have that logo.

    Any ideas? :)

    DVD-R: Recordable
    DVD-RW: Rewritable

The little logo is for the DVD-RW group that set the standards for writable DVDs.

Yes, I know what DVD-R and DVD-RW means, but I was still a little unsure what these were. Thanks for clearing it up! :)
