    Hi!
Just bought a Sony VAIO FW series laptop wich is the new wider screen format with 16.4" size.
I've been looking for a bag for this laptop there are a ton of vertical bags for 15.4" laptops or smaller. But are there any vertical messenger bags for bigger laptops that I could fir the VAIO into?
Because I'm tall and failry skinny I think that a biiig wide 17.1" messenger bag would just look stupid and I can't even remember the time I last used a backpack.
    So any suggestions?

There is the stm Convertible. It is definitely less unwieldy than a horizontal-format 17-incher bag. There are slight issues with the bag such as the tendency for the front flap velcro to become 'unsticky' in my experience fairly soon but it's not a bad compromise IMO.
