I see at the gym gimmicky screens attached to cardio bike machines advertising you get to cycle around in a "virtual world" like "Expresso Bike" (google it)

Has anyone done this better? With better graphics, sound, VR headset/3d glasses that won't stink and smell with sweat and ability to choose where you go? Or with a projector/fan that blows at you to stimulate going down a hill/wind?

I'd think this would be one of the next obvious steps for VR/3d but don't recall seeing anyone do this justice.

If you live in San Fran, no reason to do this you already got great locations to bike in. But not everyone lives in a great location.

Don't bother with those gimmicky "Virtual Reality" glasses on things like excercise bicycles at gyms.

The next wave of VR helmets is coming in 2016. Oculus Rift, VR Gear, HTC Vive, Steam VR, etc. Just wait a few months for the first wave of that stuff to come out, and you'll get your fill of VR.

Actually good VR. Mind-blowing VR. Not the junk on an exercise bike.

Let's hope they put good VR onto those bikes later. In one year or more it won't be hard.
