    So my HDD crapped out when i need it the most, and i opened it up to hook it up to different external cabinet and it shows up as 750gb of unrecognisable storage.
    Anyone got any tips on how to perhaps make it display what was stored on it before?
    I know the disk worked fine yesterday.

    Luckily i dont store anything vital on WD drives out of personal experience unless i got a backup (DropBox in this case) but i bought my drive to store PC backups and Steam games on it.

    Edit:
    Seems its alive on my trusty no brand USB 2.0 / eSata external cabinet. :D
    Im trying to look for any lost partition data but i wont hold my breath.

    Edit 2:
    No chance of getting the data back i guess. D;
    Thanks WD for making the crappiest external HDD cabinets.
    The drive itself still works though.
