    Want to move to gaming monitor. What should I buy?

    I want a desktop gaming monitor. Something that's not too huge, but not too small. So a 27", 1080p / 1200p, 3D monitor with 120hz refresh to work with an NVIDIA GPU.

    I was looking at the Asus VG278H. One thing particularly concerned me about it - that it's TN. I am really prejudiced towards >20" TN monitors as I have yet to see one that delivers acceptable images in general purpose use. However I don't buy a lot of them so haven't seen any improvements (if any) over the last couple of years firsthand and I also realise that to get 120hz refresh, I'm likely looking at TN for the response time anyway.

    What are my options?
