I'm considering getting the Waterfield sleeve from SFbags but I have a question regarding the flap, when it's in my backpack with a lot of books pressing against it, will it leave marks in my LCD when the books press against the flap, and the flap in turn presses against the LCD (I'm specifically thinking about the closing meachnism for the flap)

So what do you think, get it WITH the flap or without the flap and just the closing mechanism (and will this closing mechanism have the same problems as the flap?)

Thanks!
P.S. and does the flap work OK when it's within a bag? (I'll be carrying just the sleeve sometimes without the bag, that's why I'm considering getting the flap)

I have this sleevecase with the flap - mine also has the carry strap and the piggyback - makes a nice "bag" for when you only want to carry your computer. The flap does not get in the way when in a bag. I haven't had any problems with damage to the computer from the flap or anything else - it's a very nice bag and well made.
