I bought the Wenger MAXXUM from Best Buy the other day and I really liked it. Unfortunately, it was too snug of a fit for my new Dell 1520 with the 9-cell battery. Even without the battery, the laptop would've been a touch too big. It poked out near the top of the bag until I closed it, but even then the bag seemed to offer little protection to the corners that were now touching the inside of the bag.

It's too bad because it really was a nice bag overall. I ended up going with the black version of the eBags Burton White Collection instead. I'll try to post a small review or opinion to this thread when it arrives.

    Sorry to here that.

I have the backpack as well, and currently put my Inspiron 6000 in it. It is a very snug fit even for that model. Soon I will putting my T61p in it when it arrives. I think that one will fit too, as it should be a tad smaller than my Inspiron 6000.

I like the backpack a lot, and am somewhat surprised the 1520 doesn't fit.

I'll be interested in looking at your review, hope the new bag works for you!
