I'm looking to buy a laptop backpack for the laptop I'm ordering soon, I've hear the Wenger Maxxum is pretty good, but it doesn't fit all 15.4" notebooks. Anyone know what the laptop sleeve size is, or more importantly if it will fit the M860ETU / NP8662?

If not, any better backpack suggestions for my laptop?

Considering that the M860ETU / NP8662 is bigger than most 15" laptops, I doubt it will fit if that backpack has problems with alot of other similar sized models.

Best of getting something guarenteed to fit all 15.4" models.

Is your 1530 a tight fit in that bag? The M860ETU is a tad bit bigger than the 1530.

    1530: 14.06 x 10.34 x 0.93
    M860ETU: 14.3 x 10.6 x 1.45 ~ 1.95

    Think that will still fit?

Why don't you consider a 17" backpack? I use a Pegasus for my G2S-A1 and it's a tight fit; your M860ETU should do well in that.

Well, I think the best advice to you then would be to go into a store that sells the bags and ask if you can try fitting your laptop in them. Before Circuit City went under I asked the employees and they were fine with it. :)
