No... you have a 17" laptop, it supports 15/15.4" laptops. Unless you want to cram that thing in and use a rubber band, I'd recommend getting one that fits your laptop comfortably so you don't have to risk any problems (like weather damage and the like). You can usually get them for just a little more than the 15/15.4" variable, so shop carefully. :)

EDIT: By the way, since its width is 17", you'd really have to be forcing that thing in every time and pushing the edges, which could damage the bag and shorten its lifespan, and who knows what else. It could cause pressure, and a cut off of circulation.

Yes i did read the review and he do say that he didnt try with 17", if you didnt notice.

It just that i saw some reviews about this case in Circuitcity and they wrote that they use 17" laptops with this case so i was wondering if my particular model will fit (maybe someone from his own experience might comment). and also it says that it does fit 17". I dont mind if it will get a bit tight in there. Its a bit hard to find 17" case that isnt too expensive...

    Yeah i know Ridley.

But i have 75 Dell Dollars and i need to spend them on something :)

I just went and checked in my local Circuit City this Wenger Sierra and i measured it. Its going to fit just about i think. So i'm gonna order it and i'll post here.

Also the reason i want this case is because it opens all the way and not only on top. So i can put it on the Table and just open it - very comforable for me.

You do realize a lot of cases do that? I was just at Target the other day, and three of the ones I found did exactly that. But hey! To each their own. XD

Good luck with your purchase. Let us know how it feels. I have a backpack that supports up to 17", although I'm considering getting a small case (probably briefcase) for easier carry. ;) You wouldn't believe how awesome this backpack is for carrying a buttload of college books, though. lol
