    i forgot to add that i know woot had a 750 gb external recently for like $90 . those things are usually OEM / or refurbished or something to that effect. as for me, i can never buy something like that, i always buy new, and sometimes from retailers.

    this drive is absolutely brand new, from staples - either in store or online. you get piece of mind knowing that this unit is not refurbished/oem'd, etc.

    i just got one of these from staples. oddly enough, i went to their store and they didnt find this deal on their computers so i ordered online.

    nowhere on the page though does it say online only... odd..

    anyway, i ordered here in manhattan before 2pm, so im getting it delivered for free tomorrow.

    Received this today. Although I bought it elsewhere. I must say it's very nice looking and quiet. WD are reliable for simple media storage that doesn't require blazing rpm.

    i must say i envy you... here in poland, silesia/slask to be more exact, you can hardly find one for less than 200$. and buying and transporting one from us based shops gets so high taxes and costs that the price alltogether jumps to the region 20$-30$ more than the regular prices from polish retailers :/
