I recently purchased the gateway m-6850fx and it get a tad hot on the left end of the laptop, so I was wondering which laptop cooler to buy. I am willing to spending anything between $20-$50(if its worth it).

The NC 1000 is quite pricey but is probably the best option for 15.4'' notebooks. Can you post some pics of the under side?

If your laptop is hot at the top left end of your laptop, I recommend the NZXT Cryo LX as its three 120mm fans are positioned towards the top of the notebook cooler and thus able to more easily cool that part of your notebook. But yes, do provide a picture of the bottom of your laptop so we can be sure.

The 6850 FX is a 15.4 model, so the NC 1000 might be a better choice.

people say the nc1000 is slightly smaller than a 15.4 ... If you want to be sure for a perfect fit look up on the nc2000 but its more money.. Check the dimensions and where your air vents on the bottom are so u can buy a cooler just right for your laptop
