The MoGo Media Mouse 54 will fit into your Express Card slot! It's a Bluetooth Wireless Multi-Media Remote! :) And, it "charges" right inside your Express Card bay & also stores there! I have it and it works great! I don't use it 24/7 but for travel & "out and about" as such..it's great!

MoGo Media Mouse X54 for ExpressCard/54 Laptops $39.99 /free shipping LINKY

Of, course..it would never "replace" the use of a regular mouse..but it's great to have for travel, when short on space when packing your lappy, etc...! : )

Before we go any further, you should specify whether your ExpressCard slot is the 34mm or 54mm variety.

Check the DIY ViDock thread. It seems to be doing reasonably well.

I always wanted a clearQAM tv tuner or a remote of some sort that could just sit in the expresscard slot.

diydock. :p im looking at putting one together and getting a 3dmark score of around 9000. should last me a while. :D
not sure if it would beat his 250m and i7 combo, but worth a look. with an i7 a 3dmark06 score of 2100 is theoretically possible.

sound cards are good too. laptop intergrated sound cards are .... terrible to put it lightly.
i would think that though having spent £240 on a USB external headphone amp. hehehhehehehhhe.

If you have any external hard drives that uses an eSATA connection, then an expresscard eSATA controller may be worthwhile.

Would Expresscard even be fast enough to get the full potential of USB 3.0 though? Someone told me USB 3.0 will get 4 Gbps, whereas expresscard is limited at 2.5 Gbps...

Theoretically, but there will be sometime before that investment becomes practical since only one company currently makes a device with a super USB port.
