What accessories should I get when I get my laptop?

If I got the E1705 (w/7900gs), what should I get?

If I got the Asus Z96J, what should I get?

Any comments or tips from people who own E1705, S96J (almost identical to Z96J) would be appreciated. Also anyone with something productive to say.

Gotta get a nice mouse; I've got the MX518 personally. If you like wireless, can't go wrong with the G7. If you're a gamer; or just like having ultra-1337 stuff, check out the G15 keyboard. It's the best keyboard I've ever used, is completely worth every penny. If you're not a gamer though, you probably wouldn't appreciate it as much.

If you're an audiophile, or plan on using external speakers; I'd get an external sound card.

I also recommend a good mouse and notebook case. Even if you don't plan on moving the machine all that often, a notebook sleeve will protect it from dust and scratches when not in use.

After that, an external drive... especially if you are taking your notebook on the road. While your hardware can be insured/replaced, your data can't... and an external hdd makes backups quick and painless.
