    What are these "thermal pads" and where to buy them?

    Hey ho,
    I got the XMG Fusion 15 and it has several of those silver "aluminium"-looking pads/cushions (?!) and also some black "silicon" (?!) pads/cushions attached on the fans on heatsink/heatpipes.

    Does anybody of you know the correct term for those 2 "pads" and where to buy them?

    I would highly appreciate it!

    Those dont look like thermal pads, more like foam likely to reduce noise or to reduce vibrations felt in the chassis

    Not sure where to buy those specific items though sorry about that

    thanks for your response! I also asked the reseller and they said as well, it is some foamy thing to reduce vibration. Since my chassis (Clevo PC50) is vibrating, I would like to buy some of those and see whether it is actually helping or not.

    I thought maybe some enthusiasts already having those attached to their heatsink etc. But it seems that these things are rather rare to find^^.
