What are your experiences with having an external portable monitor?

    0. Did it actually make you more productive on the road or just at school when you were away from an external monitor?

    1. Ever had your laptop + a 14 or 13 inch monitor in your backpack? How does it feel? Was it worth the extra space in your backpack?

    2. Is it better to have a USB or HDMI cable rather than a wireless external monitor? Is it a nuissance to have the extra cables?

    3. What is it like using a relatively larger external monitor with a smaller screen? say an 11 inch laptop with a 15 inch external monitor?

The biggest thing I am worried about is I heard in alot of amazon reviews for the portable monitors that they just break or stop working or are not strong enough to hold up well in a backpack.
