I plan on using a backpack with it and put my books inside along in it. But i hear its a bad idea. What else can I use it to carry around when I go to college?

Even though the A8JP cover flexes.... does that make a huge impact when i put books inside my bag with it?

I have never had problems with books and laptops togethor in a bag. My advice is that if there are books in the bag with the computer, always set it down so that the laptop is resting on the books, and not the books resting on the laptop.

Hello, i recommend getting a memory foam cover for the laptop, that way it stays protected in the backpack. These foam cases are available on ebay or any computer shops and come in all sizes.

I'll second Caleb -- I've never had a problem with it either. And remember, often times you don't actually need to bring the text to class, so if you don't really NEED it, don't bring it!
