    What do people know about logitech speakers?

    I am looking at getting the logitech x530 or the x540. how much better is the x540, and is it worth going 5.1 for my budget of about $100AUD?

    It depends, do you have the space? Do you watch a lot of movies, or primarily listen to music?

    If you just listen to music, then 5.1 isn't a big deal, pointless really. And honestly, I'd rather have a nicer 2 or 2.1 channel system for watching movies than a less capable 5.1 or 7.1 system. I'm different from most in that regard, though.

    I really can't tell you anything about the difference between those two, though.

    more games than anything else. i am upgrading from g1 intergrated speakers which are crap to start off with.

    yes, i have the room for it so no problem in that regard. its just that i had pinched my brothers while he was at uni, but he pinched them a little while ago.

    i went and got the x530, the only difference is that the x540 has a controller which i don't need as there is one on my keyboard.
