What do you carry your T61p in?

Just ordered a T61p and am searching for a bag. I really like Booq and Manhattan Portage so far. Problem is, most of the bags I like aren't quite big enough. I ordered my T61p with the 9 cell so that puts its height at a little under 12 inches, width 14 inches and I don't remember what the thickness is. I like the briefcase backpack from MP. It says it fits up to a 17inch laptop but the padded sleeve measures 13.5 x 10.5 x 1.5 . . .that's a pretty small 17inch.
I also like Booq's Mamba Sling, but alas it appears to have just slightly too small a compartment. Their messenger looks great too, but it looks a little on the bulky side for my taste. I'm trying to go a little more minimal. MP's DJ bag looks like a nice size, but again about a couple tenths of an inch too small. I like the Wallstreeter a lot too. Guess what? Built in sleeve isn't quite big enough.

    Curse me.

Were you able to fit the 9-cell battery T61p into the laptop compartment of the surge?

I carry my T60 in a Targus backpack I bought on sale at Best Buy, it still has plenty of room for a slightly larger notebook.

I have a super expensive Victorinox rolling bag, the Trevi, and it has *plenty* of room and padding - enough room for books, files, makeup, wallet, etc, etcx.

FWIW I've got a 15.4" WS T60 which is the exact same size and shape as a 15.4" WS T61p and my T60 rides in a Targus Corporate Traveler with SafePORT air protection. The protection afforded by SafePORT surely beats the piss out of the ordinary foam that other non-SafePORT equipped laptop bags and cases are made with.

BTW there's plenty of room for a TP with the 9-cell battery installed--simply insert the TP front edge-down in the case so that the back edge with the protruding battery is facing upwards.

Oh and the all-business, all-black case matches the all-business, all-black TP inside so very spiffily.
