There are so many features that comprise a bag. It gets confusing obviously and this poll would be useful for prospective buyers on what priorities there are in choosing a decent bag. What features do you look for in a laptop bag? Comments?

Not much traffic on this poll, eh? Considering everyone is looking for a perfect bag for their respect computer it is surprising. I have to say that Protection, Weight, and comfort first and foremost.

Number one for me is weight, I don't need any more with all I carry...the lighter the better.

I don't know the areas where you walk/move thru, but I would say that a strong and not-showy backpack will it make it last, and in MY hands!!!

    So, that's "Protection", in a wider sense [ ;)]

[Oh, yes, if it's confortable and light, GREAT!]

#1 is for me is not looking like I'm carrying a laptop around, #2 is freeing up a hand while travelling so that means it's a knapsack for me, 3rd would be enough room for all my stuff associated with my laptop based on where I'm going and for how long. If I'm just going to work with it for the day then it's just the LT, if I'm going on a trip and will be away for a while then there'll be cd's, DVD's and other entertainment stuff that I'll be carrying around with the laptop.

My High Sierra laptop knapsack covers all these requirments for me.
