    Hey guys,

I love playing flight simulator on my laptop, with a joystick obviously. Does anyone know if you can buy a small or collapsible joystick that can be used for travelling?
    Thanks very much
    Dom

Saitek ST90. While it isn't as nice as other Saitek models, it is still a fairly nice stick and fits the bill.

After having my laptop stolen, a laptop lock is gonna be a great asset for traveling. Just make sure that you have a big bag through that security checkpoint and lock your laptop to the bag when you take it out. You'll never know when some thief is just gonna see your laptop and just take off with it. At least if it was locked to the bag, they're not gonna expect it.

If you read the description you will find this: 4-position digital throttle with LED indicators

There is your throttle. And like CWar said, LOCKS ARE A NECESSITY!!!

I know there is a throttle but it is not a twisty throttle, it is a digital throttle and i have read reviews that you can only put it to 0% 25% 50% 75% 100%.

IIIM3, i noticed that you have an ATI MOBILITY RADEON X1400, my new laptop that i am getting has the same graphics card, I am just wondering what games you have played on it and if they play well. Also have you by any chance played flight sim 2004?
    Thanks

    Hi guys,
I found the "Logitech Attack 3" joystick, which isn't exactly foldable, but it is smaller then most other joysticks, but then I read that it is not a twisty joystick, and I would like one that is twisty and that has a twisty throttle.
Has anyone seen any foldable/portable/detchable joysticks.
I would really appreciate it if you could let me know.
    Thanks

Hey, I've got an X1400 ,along with C2D 5500 processor, haven't played flight sim but it runs Counterstrike source & Half-Life 2 smoothly, requiring an upgrade from 1 to 2 GB RAM to avoid the slowdowns with too many on-screen players in 64 player.Call Of Duty 2 was a bit too slow at 1024x768 resolution with 1GB RAM, haven't tried it with 2GB yet.
Enjoy your new toy either way (even if bought for work :) )

Thanks, I have it now and it plays flight sim perfectly with all the settings maxed out.
