    But seriously, it means nothing. If you're seeing it as part of some kind of spec sheet for a laptop you are considering buying, just know it is meaningless marketing BS / fluff.

    I can say
    World class performance
    Next generation technology
    High performance parts

    All those words sound good, right? But they don't mean jack squat.

    last year it was 3rd gen and this year its 4th gen.
    so it means its a current laptop with the latest spec motherboard.

    but i prefer the other replys :D
