I only want to spend about 20-40 bucks for a backpack. But when I came searching around online to see the Wenger Synergy, I guess ill pay 60-70ish. I really hope its worth the money though. But is there any other options people suggest?

Im going to commute to college and I need a backpack to carry my laptop with. I have an Asus A8JP. Its a 14 inch. Would it be better for me to get a 14 inch backpack? I rarely see those online.

Consider the Kensington Contour backpacks. They're pretty good.

Thanks for the advice but I think im making my top 2 choices as the Maxumm or the Synergy by both Wenger. I am not sure which is better. What is everyones' opinion?

Also, I was also wondering if it was a good idea to place books into the compartment where you put your laptop in.

I haven't bought mine yet, but I'm also looking at the Maxxumm and the Synergy . They both seem pretty nice.
I wonder what is the best one to tote a few books around with too?

Check out what Mobile Edge has to offer. Pretty reasonably priced.

Compusa has the Targus Citygear Chicago on sale for $30 (half off). The sale ends Saturday. It doesn't have a contoured airflow back like some of the other laptop backpacks, but it looks nice and has good storage.
