    Hi,

I'm looking for a laptop stand to cool off my laptop. I have a 15.6 inches laptop that is quite heavy (>6lbs). I would like a metal one that have a small elevation and I don't need it to be adjustable. What is the best quality/price stand I can get?

I would like if the item is available (or may be shipped) in Canada.

    Thanks.

The zalman seems to be a little bit expense compared to a passive stand or another cooler. Is it worth the extra bucks since I'm actually looking for a basic passive laptop stand? And if I go for the zalman... should i get the zalman nc3000u instead? It is sold for 2$ less than the nc2000 at tigerdirect.ca ( Buy the Zalman ZM-NC3000U Notebook Cooler at TigerDirect.ca)

    Thank you for your help

Check out the CoolerMaster X2 or U3, either should work.

I've had the CoolerMaster X2 and I think it would be a poor fit for a 15 in notebook. The size is too small (for my Asus it was at least), and the fan was not pushing enough air imho.

Either get one with 2 or more smaller fans or get one with one giant fan in the middle. I had a Thermaltake Massive23 and not only did it move a lot of air but it did so very quietly.

At a price of $20 to $30 the Thermaltake Massive23 LX is hard to beat.

Zaltman NC2000 or something was the best for 15 inch when i got my cooling pad... also if the NC3000 is newer , i'd get that since its most likely designed for 15.6 inch.. NC2000 was for 15.4..
