I'm thinking of buying a Macbook, and I'm in need of a new mouse. I want to take advantage of the fact that the Macbook has bluetooth, and I want your opinion on bluetooth mice....
1) Are they any better/worse than a wireless USB mouse?
2) What bluetooth mouse do you recommend?
3) Do you recommend the Might Mouse? It's kind of expensive IMO, and I heard the scroll ball is delicate.

1) Some say that Bluetooth mice drain the battery quicker...as for response and such I don't think there's a noticeable difference.
2) The Logitech V270 isn't bad...
3) No, I don't recommend the Mighty Mouse. The scrollball does break easily, and the Mighty Mouse in general isn't a great product when you have veterans such as Logitech that make fantastic mice. -
I wanted a bluetooth one too but it was just too expensive. I finally want for a standard logitech wireless one, but it has a "micro" adapter, that goes directly into the mouse when not needed

There's also this Mogo Mouse, which doubles as a media remote and fits in the express card slot.

i am using microsoft wireless notebook presenter mouse 8000. bluetooth. laser pointer (useful during presentation). remote control pad (presentation slide / volume control).
battery life is decent. but i am using rechargeable battery (leftover from a old sony digital camera). -
I have the Microsoft wireless laser mouse 8000 and it is larger and more comfortable than the presenter but it doesnt have the laser pointer or control pad on it. Very good mouse though, comes with a charger stand and a free rechargeable battery. I can't fault it.

I use the Dell Bluetooth Mouse and it works great for me... doesn't seem to drain the battery any faster than other mice

I've read somewhere to be specific here...

that bluetooth mouse tend to lag when you leave it alone for a couple of minutes and come back to it. Is it really that bad, and is that the reason there's only a few bluetooth mouse out there? -

i use a logiix traveler its good for surfing, but for games it makes my hand sore. The mouse itself is pretty small and comes with rechargable batteries, and the life is good in my opinion.
http://logiix.net/traveler.htm <- im pretty sure this is the official price
you probably can find it for $45-$70, depending on where you live and what stores you have near you. -

I recommend V470. It got a good battery life.

i have the Microsoft 8000 (non presenter one) its amazing it feels so perfect in my hand since its full size it has the thumb buttons (i use mine to go back on web pages) but you can set the buttons to do different things in different programs which is nice. it comes with a cradle and 2 rechargeable, but you can throw in regular batteries if you don't have an outlet. it blinks red when the batteries are dying. it comes with a donge but if you have internal bluetooth you don't need it. i have yet to experience any lag when waking up from sleep. the mouse goes for around 80 us, i bought mine used off ebay for 20 amazing deal and it was in mint condition check ebay.
What is the best bluetooth mouse?
