    Hello everybody

I'm new in this forum. To make story short, the touchpad surface of my Toshiba Tecra R850 becomes more and more rough and now I have hard time to use it. My question is does it exist a product that I can "rejuvenate" the touchpad surface ? I also think about a protection film, but this exists only for smartphone or tablet but not for Touchpad.

    Anyway thanks.

Keep your the pad clean. Use a moist cloth to clean and then follow by a dry wipe. Keep your fingers clean too. A 'rough' touchpad is wayy better then a worn shiny surface. Just my 2 cents.

Rubbing alcohol usually brings mine back to the original matte finish (HP Pavilion and Lenovo T440). It gets like sticky and shiny when its getting too dirty.

You could try finding a glass screen protector that would fit nicely, or you can put a plastic screen protector on it and put some hard car wax on that to make it smoother.
