As awesome as they seem to be, I surely see a lot of negative reviews floating around about them. I love their designs, but it seems like people aren't finding the quality too great. Any insight?

I am really needing a laptop bag for school that will house a 13.3- inch Sony Vaio Z. I need something big enough to carry books, as well. Should I do the sleeve+bag thing or just get a bag that already has a laptop compartment?

Durability is probably the most important thing, as it will be used and abused. Price isn't much of a concern if it's a really good bag.

    Thank you!

The key thing with a sleeve is it keeps your laptop looking like new.

I used to use one with my SZ and it didn't get a scratch - then I stopped as it annoyed me too much, it looks used now.

I don't mind, if it get's used it mayy look it too (within reason)

I've been using a Booq backpack for my Thinkpad T61p for 2 years. Awesome backpack! Some of the great features (IMO) include:
    • Very well built
    • Lots of room
    • Great protection for laptop
    • Very comfortable

It is, without a doubt, the nicest laptop backpack I have used (incl. SwissGear, etc.). I highly recommend Booq.
