    Is anyone fimiliar with the name of the cable that goes from the sound card to the DVD ROM? Its a desktop, and I think the sound card has a aux input.

    I assume you're referring to the audio cable that connects an optical drive's four pin coonector to a sound card

    It's called a "cd/dvd 4-pin audio cable"
