Booq is having a crazy closeout sale right now. They have sleeves and stuff going for $5!!! Regular price was like $50. They have a the Mamba S which is made for your notebook for about $50 which is a steal IMO.

Are these backpacks secure enough to ride on a motorcycle with one?

nothing, maybe except for Haliburton cases, will protect your laptop if you eat it while riding...you might look at the Brain Cell bags from Tom Bihn as a hard sided bad that can fit inside another bag...

http://www.tombihn.com makes lots of excellent bags specifically for your Macbook and Macbook Pro.

    Booqbags are sweet.
Do not, I repeat, do NOT get a Slappa. Period.

they look cool and make great backpacks, but the laptop section doesn't properly protect ultra thins from damage. Hence why my MBP now has a dent in it.

Manhattan Portage has a sweet looking bag for smaller laptops which is simple and compact. Here is a review of it. I'm digging the color selection on this bag.

The Ogio laptop backpack is cool too, but a bit bulkier.
