As the title says. Any other mice have a micro receiver like the Vx nano? Thanks.

Wow, lot of interesting recommendations. I checked out the kensington mice that were recommended and I don't like the shape, too flat. I think they will be uncomfortable for me. Mouse don't have to be ergonomic for me, but should have some bit of an arch to hold comfortably.
PS - Too many cat lovers in here
Cin - this is the first time I have seen you post a mean kitty. Your animals are usually so cute and nice -
Hmm, is it possible it purchase these mice just for the nano receiver and set it up with a VX Revolution?
I'm asking as Logitech doesn't sell nano receivers in Canada as standalones...and none of the alternative Logitech mice with nano receivers are reasonably priced. -

If it is just that you want a mouse that is a little bigger than the vx nano, I think the rosewill one is between the regular desktop size and a vx nano. Some of the reviews on the newegg site said it was bigger. Below is a example.
"Pros: One of the most comfortable mice I've ever used. The scroll wheel is whisper quiet. It has the notched click type scroll motion, but it's very fluid--more so than the V450, which I purchased recently.
Buttons 4 and 5 couldn't have been placed in a better spot. They sit about 1/16" above my thumb, with the area they meet right about at my thumb's middle joint, so it's easy to hit one button with your thumb tip, and the other with your lower thumb.
It's just a hair smaller than a regular desktop mouse, but slightly bigger than a V450. Which translates to the perfect size for me (I have common, medium-sized male hands). Doesn't have that "gripping a softball" feeling like larger mice, nor does it leave my pinky and ring finger hanging like smaller mice.
It isn't glossy, which I like. Glossy mice tend to feel greasy unless it and your hand are perfectly clean. Gross.
Reliable at least 15 ft away. I couldn't go any further in my room.
Cons: The tracking is okay, but it is occasionally slightly jumpy (I'm talking *slightly*). Not terribly noticeable unless you're like me and scrutinize tracking like a hawk. I'm used to Logitech's laser engine, which I think is top-notch.
Not a huge deal, but there's a piece of glossy plastic on the side, and matte plastic on the top that runs to the rear. Where these two pieces meet, they're not 100% flush with each other, so sometimes I can feel the sharp plastic edge on my palm. It's really only a minor gripe, though.
Other Thoughts: Despite not having the best laser tracking engine, I actually have an easier time landing my cursor on the target than on the V450. I don't know how that makes sense...
This mouse is about what I was expecting (after reading reviews). The ergonomic design is excellent in every way. Easily one of the comfiest mice I've used. While I was just a bit disappointed in the tracking, this is still a perfectly usable mouse, and I have no regrets.
Awesome mouse! "
I personally have never used this mouse, but I did order one today. -
It's just, the VX Nano receiver isn't sold in Canada so the only solution is to go buy the VX Nano itself (which is grossly overpriced at $60 in Canada with it dropping to $50 every few months or so).
I was asking if I could purchase any of the other mice recommended in this thread that come with nano receivers and pair the receiver with my VX Revolution (the Rosewill is only $20 compared to the VX Nano's steep $60 price).
Sorry for the threadcapping. -
very interesting! -

Basically, you just have to own a certain VX Rev.(the older revision) and buy the right Nano receiver for $10 from Logitech's accessory store. You then run the Logitech Setpoint software where the receiver searches for a compatible device to pair with and that's where your VX revolution comes in.

There's a much more detailed/longer thread but I can't find it atm... -
I just received the Rosewill nano mouse. I think I will like it a lot. On sale for $20 at newegg.
Pros-
Good reception. I tried it from 20 feet away with my arm through a doorway into another room and the signal went through the wall with out a problem.
I like that it is a little bigger than the logitech vx nano. (It is smaller than a regular desktop mouse.) It also has a higher arch to it than the vx nano so I can use more of a palm grip instead of a claw grip. Guys who thought the vx nano was too small may like this better.
The extra 2 buttons are nicely placed above the thumb. On the vx nano they are the top so you have to use your index finger to use them.
There is only a slight clicking noise when the buttons are pressed. Quieter than the vx nano.
Came with a carrying case.
Receiver is the the same nano size.
CONS.
Really bad instruction book.
No extra drivers than the generic installed ones. That means I can't remap the buttons.
Receiver does not store inside the mouse.
Strange tilt wheel- to the right only. No left tilt. It does not scroll right and left directly but instead a right tilt brings up an autoscroll button and then you scroll by moving the mouse. Might take some time to get used to this. Not a deal breaker but very strange.
Over all I think this is a nice mouse for 1/3 the price of a vx nano. The nano receiver is great and I am willing to put up with some of the strangeness because the price is low.. Will be using this at work and sharing it with other people. For my personal use, I will stick with the VX nano so I can remap the keys how I want them. -
thanks for the link Dev1ant!
here's what i make of it...
The Nano Reciever P/N 993-000057 works with both VX Revolution revisions (Mk1 and Mk2).
To Sync:
1. -After replacing the new nano receiver...wait the popup that tolds "device is ready to use"
2. -Launch the Connect Utility.
3. -Just press and hold the left mouse button down and while the left mouse button is down, click the right mouse button 5 times.
check part number of your mouse... it is in the little plastic tab inside the battery compartment.
mine is P/N 810-000570 for the VX Revolution mouse. -

Logitech V450 uses one, and of course if you do not have bluetooth you can get a micro bluetooth dongle and then use any bluetooth mouse with it.
If you have internal bluetooh then you dont need one at all.
What other mice have a micro receiver like the Vx nano?
