*resisting the hundred answers that would get me banned for certain* XD
Since you're overclocking... laptop cooler? -
Some headphones/speakers?
An external hard drive?
A bluetooth headset for your cell phone?
A game? -
I had a $30 bestbuy certificate but it expired before any of my parents went over near the mall
I wanted to get a pack of dvd's or cd's -
@Dragunov-21. Thanks fellow CoD4 player
(Judging from your name). But my temps are good without one till summer
@Avanish: Headphones sound pretty good, any one know of good IN-EAR headphones? Since I'm laying on my side most of the time over-the-head headphones normally don't work for me for obvious reasons
Suggest the best in-ear headphones I can get from bestbuy for $40?
@erwallie: Ouch, I'm sorry man. I've got dvd-r's and cd-r's right now though -
Headphones?
Gamepad?
Game?
Monitor? ($40!)
Hard Drive? -

I have those. The bass is AMAZING, and they seal out any outside noise. The only bad thing about them is the crappy build quality. I'm on my third pair of those.
The part that attaches to the silicone ear insert just snapped off on the first pair.
The second pair's wire broke where it connected to the plug. I had to jiggle it around and find a place where the wires could touch to get it working.
The third pair seems to be made of a different material than the first 2, so hopefully they're made of higher quality.
If they break, just go back to bestbuy and exchange them. That's what I did the past 2 times. -
Thanks man, do you think they'll be good for gaming sounds?
Also how loud are they? Like when I'm on yahoo I use the "Call" feature and so I listen to people talking through their mics alot with earphones, Think they'll be loud enough to hear the people talking and have my TV on?
Also if I opted for over-the-eat headphones, which would be the best ones of those as well?
Thanks for the help. -
$40 should get you a better laptop than the one you have in your sig.
>ducks<
But seriously, maybe a game? Or a lock? -
Kidding
I'm good on games right now, have like 5 to beat still haha.
Not sure If I need a lock really.
Really interested in good earphones. Might go with those skull-candies -
The Fire Snake Notebook Virtuoso
flash drive?

Think those are any good if I opted for over-the-head ? -
Hmmmmmmmm I would probably buy a flash drive. Personally I like to use my flash drive as my backup device. They are fast, store alot of data, and best of all, you can ge them for pretty darn cheap nowadays!
I picked up a 16gb PNY "attache" jump drive for $35, brand new!
Just a suggestion! -
Hmm I usually like to use CD-R's for my backups. So not really in need of a flash drive at the moment
-
get a game or some music you would really like.

I'd say go with headphones
My brother has a pair of skullcandy in-ear headphones and they sound good
They are quite comfy as well -
I've definitely heard good things (pun!) about Skullcandy earphones, though I've never used them. My roommate seems quite satisfied with his.
If you're looking for over-the-ear headphones with good volume and bass, I recommend Koss. I have a pair right now that are over a year and a half old, and they still sound as good as new. I even managed to accidentally strip some of the wire insulation about 4 months ago, and they still perform as well as the day I bought them. That's durability!
I got this particular pair at Wal-Mart for around $30, so I imagine Best Buy would have something similar, in a similar price range.
I also like Sony headphones, but their good models tend to run a bit more expensive. -
They're very loud. I put the volume to the max it can go on my laptop, and they could be heard about 8-9 feet away.
I was listening to music a couple of days ago during study hall. People were talking, and it was very loud. I couldn't hear anything with these headphones on. I actually didn't hear the bell ring when class was over. I realized it when everyone started to leave
I'm worthless when it comes to over the ear Headphones, so I can't help you there lol. -
Thanks guys, I think I've come up with this idea:
Get these with my certificates:
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8483697&type=product&id=1186003259156
My girlfriend has them and so I know their sound is outstanding.
And put some money out of my pocket and get these for when I'm working out and such:

Good or bad Idea? -
If you're looking for in-ear headphones, I would recommend the Sony EX-85's. I have a pair that I got for a bit less than $40 during the holiday sales, and it's great - fits perfectly with the standard plugs (although they provide two other sizes) and has great sound. The bass is surprisingly good for such an affordable headphone. My only critique would be the excessively long cord, which I think should be more reinforced (thicker).
-
By the way Avanish:
When you said you returned them twice, is there a time limit you have to return them at the bestbuy?
Thanks Midnightsun, I don't have $60 to spend right now though :\
I'm going to get those over-the-head Skullcandy headphones for my gaming and stationary use.
So now I just need a good pair of in-ear buds for my working out and mobile use.
Are those Skullcandy Smokin' Buds the best for $30 and under? Thank you. -
Buy Batteries!!!
.
-
Yeah... I so need batteries for my rechargeable laptop and the wired keyboard and mouse I have.....
-
-
Wouldn't it be nice if we could use regular batteries to power our laptops when our batteries died when your mobile? -
-

I just got a pair of them earlier, they're loud as heck
I'm liking the sound of them, cant talk about the durability for obvious reasons (Just got them)
I notice if I don't push them in deep in my ear they may fall out.
How do you wear yours? Pushed in like your holding your fingers in your ear ignoring someone, or flimsy in your ear? I notice when you push them in a bit they get lower because they close your ear. I find it best for me to push them in right where my earlobe holds it in place. Same as you? -
-
get a 32 gig jump drive
-
Congrats on the headphones man
Which ones did you get in the end???
Sorry, been outta touch last few days -
I got the Smokin' Buds right now. Bestbuys return policy is 30days so I'm gonna give these 2 weeks trying them out than if I don't like them they're going back -
?
-
Not sure of the exact ones my bro has, but they seem to be good quality
Stress em to the max in these two weeks.
Imagine that
'Nother $40 coupon -
They refund the certificate back to my account -
Though after using them a bit I might return them to test out other ones in their price range, if those are worse, return those, buy a new pair of these, and I'm good to go -
I like your style my man
You should try a few out then choose
I can;t find any good ones here
My brother got his from england in the summer
Shoulda got a pair, oh well....
Happy listening -
-
I've heard that sound too
Sort of Vacuums shut for the ultimate fit -
Which ones have you tried so far bro?
-
