Hey, as the thread title indicates I have a coupon to use on the Dell.ca website and also a discount code for 20% off that I hope I can use at the same time. I have no idea what to buy. I have a Studio 15 and the only accessories I have so far are a mouse and a bag. I was thinking a digital camera or maybe getting a external hard drive. Any suggesstions? I don't mind spending more than the coupon. Thanks

If I am correct, that coupon cannot be used in the purchase of an Dell Inspiron 9.

Depends what you are looking for in a laptop. If your coupon is applicable to the Dell Outlet, I would suggest you go in the Dell Outlet and find a Refurbished model and use the coupon.

    Great deal.

I would suggest an Inspiron 13 or a Dell Studio 15.

If you are willing to spend a bit more money, an M1330 or m1530 would be a good choice however you are better off waiting a bit until an XPS refresh!

Good luck! Hope this helps CanuckGirl

Well I actually already own the Studio 15 and am happy with it so don't want to look for another laptop just looking at accessories for it. Thanks though

How about a notebook sleeve, external HDD, wireless router, or external speakers?

I just saw that Dell has a deal going on a DS Lite package! Do you have a nice MP3 player?

I know your perusing a digital camera! That sounds nice

    Just some thoughts! :)

External harddrives are nice.... but im not sure you'll need it? Are you close to filling your HDD in your studio. I would get a nice pair of sound cancelling head phones :) since the speakers on the studio models arent really top notch

If Dell sells Senheiser's get a pair of those...I have a pair and they are the best headphones I've ever had. I wish I could wear earbuds, but they kill my ears about about 15 minutes. :(

Hey, you last posted on 11/7 about the $100 coupon!~

Have you made a decision yet? You were talking about a digital camera or external HD! :D...What about waiting til Black Friday? You may be able to get even a better deal, on what it is you decided to get.

Also, I was perusing several accessories on Dell's site, and noticed a lot are marked at 20% off, right now :D

The speakers on the Studio 15 are pretty lame. I would suggest either a pair of external speakers or a good set of headphones.

If music isn't really your thing, or if you already have those, then the camera sounds like a good idea.

Sorry for the delay in answering, I have a ton of schoolwork to do. I am getting an external hard drive because I would prefer to keep my pictures and other personal items backed up and I am also looking at a pair of external speakers to go with the lapotp esp. since the hard drive is on sale and I would have money left over for something else. The additional 20% off discount I was mailed expires on Friday and I have until the end of the month to use the $100 coupon. I will probably waite until boxing day to buy the digital camera which would be better as I can play with them in the store before I decide. Thanks for all of you suggestions.

I'd put it towards a nice external monitor. Dell's are good.

I've heard so many good things about the brand. I'm definitely going to take a closer look when I'm ready for some headphones.
