    topic title.

I need some kind of device to where I could plug the laptop up and run off the vehicles power. As long as the engine is running this shouldn’t be an issue right? Does anything like this exist?

    Clevo P870TM?

Cigarette lighter AC adapters are easy to get. But if you doing this for gaming, the load from a P870TM would be too high for a normal car cig lighter socket to handle. Besides, power supply on cars tend to be unstable even if the engine keeps running.

You would need a DC to AC inverter rated for at least the wattage of your power supply.

As the above two posters already answered your question, I’ll just add that you shouldn’t drive and game at the same time ;)
