Curious on the communities preference on laptop bags.

What do you like or currently use?

    Perhaps you prefer a backpack.

    Links are welcome :)

Honestly depends on what I want to do. For anything that is just going to be the laptop and few basics I prefer to use the MSI Adeona. However if its going to be a trip or if I am going to use it with motorcycle I use the MobileEdge Core Gaming backpack (Velcro edition because patches are cool). They have two variants..the on amazon has a slightly different interior layout from mine (Kickstarter model + water cover) but it still looks good according to the photos and there is also a molded version. I love the Core gaming bag a lot however I wish they would make a version with orig layout plus a muted say black/grey tone to make it more professional.. the updated model also allows for locking the bag which somehow they forgot about the first time.

I put mine in a sleeve first (the generic neoprene black-red), then a backpack - have a few of those, mostly use Swiss Gear for the purpose.

I usually use my work backpack (some Orgo model) or, if I don’t need to carry much anything else, my old school backpack (some Timbuk2 model). When I’m driving to/from my family’s home, I just stuff it with my cloths in my rolling luggage (some Ricardo model).

Personally not a big fan of flashy, gaming backpacks since imo they just scream “steal me”.

Everki Titan. It's big but fits everything my monster laptop needs.

Everki Titan here as well. I carry my P870DM-G and my employer-provided Dell Latitude in the same backpack, along with their AC adapters, two cell phones, their chargers, a power inverter, mouse and pad, on-ear noise cancelling headphones and assorted other gear.

Everki Titan if you ever want to carry a DTR, mechanical keyboard, giant PSU, and a gaming console in the same backpack.
For those who are not able to carry that type of weight on their back, either due to disability or a "no thank you", there are also Trolley versions you can cart just like travelling luggage. However you would be unable to ever travel with them on a bicycle, unless you had one of each type, which gets too expensive unless you're rich (and many people here seem to be rich). There was one Everki which would transformers itself into backpack form from Trolley form, but either that got bad reviews, or would not fit 17" and 19" laptops easily. Actually think that may have been the Atlas version. Read the review about "Heel kick" from the handle issue on the Atlas.

This one is a good trolley but cannot be used as a backpack.

The issue with the Titan is that the bag itself is pretty heavy, so if you carry a smaller laptop with you there might be better options.

Hmm. I haven't ever really noticed the Everki Titan bag itself being heavy. Maybe I am just used to big laptops and big backpacks and never pay any attention to it. I've never carried it around empty before. That would be kind of weird.

Agreed. The Everki Versa Premium is a good choice for people with 14" or smaller laptops.
Not sure how a 15" would fit in there.

The atlas is well built but its a chunk of cash also. I just was considering one because with the metal bar in my spine, I honestly don't know how long I can keep using the Titan. But I don't like buying anything that isn't quality. My trash BGAbook is enough for a lifetime.

    That made me laugh lol!

I used to have the old Targus laptop bag on wheels that would accommodate 2 X 17" laptops and hold any accessories you threw at it. I used the extra slot for my cooler. But that was 9 years ago, a lot better choices out there today.

I like the Everki Titan you posted. Nice looking bag and looks like it'll hold everything you need to game on the go!

Everki Titan here too. For the past 12 years I've been carrying 17" DTRs + the brick + the 1/2 litre of water + all other sundry items like umbrella, notebook, etc, to work every day and every 12 - 18 months needing to buy a new bag because they were just falling apart UNTIL I bought my first Everki. I'm still using it now after 6 years and if I ever need another backpack it will be another Everki.

My favorite laptop bag is my MEC outpost messenger bag. Durable, waterproof, great looking etc. holds EVERYTHING I would ever need.
