Well, it's not too big for laptop, bigger mouse = more comfortable. Logitech M950 isn't too bad if you prefer the non-gaming design unlike the mamba. M905 is great as well if you prefer a small mouse.

But i prefer compact wireless mouse, with usb recharge docking station..

    Coz, i use Vaio Z 13" laptop.

i saw razer orochi.. but it uses AA battery for wireless and not rechargeable..

Not really a problem though, the battery life per battery in those new wireless mice can last at least 3 months.

as i posted in another board look for sanyo eneloop NiMH hybrid batteries. They dont lose their charge slowly like standard NiMH and are suitable for lower drain devices such as a mouse. Spend 15 bucks on the batteries and you'll never need new ones again.

Whatever you choose make sure it has a mini usb plug-in. I have a HP wireless lazer mouse with a mini usb plug and never take the plug out even when my notebook is in its case. The big and long usb plugs can be damaged or can damage your computer if you are using it on your lap.

I have a Logitech M305 Wireless Optical Mouse from Best Buy and I love it. It has a nano-usb receiver, it uses 1 battery, and it is very precise (1000 dpi) in FPS games. It's now $35.99 at Best Buy.

It's basically a smaller version of the Logitech MX518 without the extra buttons and is geared towards left & right handed people.

How does the Roccat compare to the Orochi? What are the advantages and disadvantages over each other? I narrowed my choice down to both of them.

The Roccat Pyra uses USB wireless, the Orochi uses Bluetooth.

Another difference is that the Orochi has 4 side buttons with 2 on each side while the Roccat has 2 side buttons with 1 on each side.

The Orochi also does not recharge through the usb Cable, but it gains more speed options when hooked up via usb. The Orochi usb cable is also proprietary.
