Specs are very similar. Prices too.

2433BW does not have HDMI but I don't need that anyway.

Can anyone tell me which is the best one?

Other cheap 1900*1200 24" suggestions ar welcome too.

Seems like a great choice, very good contrast ratio, brightness is good, awesome response time, looks tempting :D

According to a German review it only uses 47 watt. That's only 7 watt more than my 22".

    Noooooo!! ;)

You should've gotten the hp2475...cheapest and best 24" IPS screen

That would have been € 544,95. I can buy two T240's of that ;)

And actually I quite like TN panels. I mainly care about contrast. Color reproduction and viewing angles are of less importance to me.

Update on the T240: I'm extremely happy with it.

At first the contrast wasn't all that but after lowering the brightness in the Ati display settings it looks very good.

The power consumption is 30 watt at 50% brightness, that's less than my 22" HP w2207.

In the evening I turn down the brightness to 0%, power consumption drops to 20 (!) watt.

Only potential downside of this model is the LCD whine that my previous model had. This one mostly doesn't, and when it does it's very faint.

Not sure how much it would run you but I just got 3x24's

A brand new Dell 2408 it was $550 with $100 instant making it $450 and then I used the Bing 15% cashback, and got like $63 comming back to me. So that monitor was just under $400

The 2 outside monitors are Del 2407's I got them from Dell Financial Services Refurbished $270 each with $15 instant off, and it was like $30 shipping. so just over $500 for both of them.

I have all 3 hooked up now and all of them are in perfect working order, as far as I can tell the refurbished units are as good as new, however they do not get the great 3 year warranty the 2408 does.

However I wish I had 3 identical monitors, I knew the size/bezel/color/stand was all the same but didnt think there would be so much of a radical difference in color/contrast and stuff. The 2408 is way better than the 2407's

Its ok though as for gaming you just use the side monitors for immersion, I can fix it up some by tonning down the color on the 2408 but I hate to "ruin" the picture it has to make it look more like the 2407's.

All in all a good investment.

If you want good and cheap 24" if it was not for the deals I found on the Dell screens I would have gotten Benq. They have high quality stuff but it cost less than Samsung and Dell usually.

I had to get IPS panels because for video/photo I need color accuracy, and the view angels are important to me since I have 3 screens 2 of them get tilted, though they get tilted to me so it only would really effect an on viewer.

If I had it to do again I would make the same choice I think, but if I was going with anything less than 24" I would have probably done it on the cheap and use TN panels for an effective but cheap surround monitor setup.

The Dell 2408 is very nice and it would put my T240 to shame in colors, contrast levels and build quality.

It costs three times more than what I paid for my T240 though, and power consumption is at least twice as high.

All in all I'm very happy with the T240. I believe BenQ uses the same panel.
