I own a V270 (came with W3J)... and I must admit, I miss the forwards and backwards button on my MX1000...

Radtech BT600 for me - 5 buttons, medium size, handy on/off switch to save power & included power cable just in case it does run out of juice.

Any problems with either of those... besides the lack of the extra buttons?

although you say it would be nice to have the charger, i have the v270 (have had it for two months now) and haven't had to change the battery once--this is with like 4-5 hours of heavy use per day and just left on the rest of the time...

Yes I also have the v270... Its a fantastic mouse with probably the best battery life. People reported using the mouse for 3+ months without having to replace the batteries.

The only minor complaint I have, its not as comfortable as my M$ intelli mouse.

I have the MX5000 bluetooth keyboard and MX1000 Bluetooth Mouse. I picked it up for $75 shipped off of ebay. The mouse is OK... I don't like how picking it up throws the pointer across the screen. It's also pretty heavy and doesnt really fit in my hand. Then again, it's brand new and all I've ever used before has been MS opticals and the oldschool MS rollerball mice!

correct me if im wrong but isnt it that bluetooth mice drain power much much more than optical/laser ones? In this case, why would you opt to get a bluetooth mouse? is it only because you dont need to plug a dongle in your notebook anymore?

or is there something else i dont see......
