I'm changing my cell phone CXR to Cingular early next year. Wondering which cell phone I can use to connect via USB cable to a PC to make it a modem?

    Thanks,

Cingular has a $20 plan called MEdia Works that allows unlimited GPRS, and works with all their Bluetooth phones. They don't sell these as 'data plans' per se, but that's what they amount to. If you go over 60MB in a month though they start to measure your usage and charge you. I'd recommend getting a Bluetooth adapter for your notebook so you can use that wireless technology (many USB Bluetooth adapters are available). Or visit www.thesupplynet.com for cables that you can use with phones to convert the cell phone to a modem.

    good luck.
