I want to connect two displays to one device but am unsure of the best way to do it. I have a Blu-ray player in the family room with my TV. I want to be able to watch movies in the master bedroom as well on my laptop Acer. I’m hearing amplifiers or splitters will do the trick.
Are these even what I need? If so, I’m assuming I won’t need anything too fancy. Thanks for any help!

Won't work for Blu-Ray Movies. Heard of a thing called HDCP (High definition content protection) which is guaranteed to get in your way. And the only laptops with HDMI in ever made were a few Alienware gaming machines. You can likely connect the laptop to the TV but not the other way around.

I see. Anyway, i found some here https://bzbexpress.com/HDMI-Amplifier-and-Splitters/
For example, Atlona Technologies AT-HDDA-2 ? -
Still won't let you do it. Your laptop unless one of the two Alienwares, has no HDMI inputs. To watch blu-ray movies you can watch them on the TV, sorry. Your Acer can't do this. Neither can any other laptop save for the models mentioned.

Which amp/splitter is best for connecting two displays to one device?
