I'm trying to decide which cooler would best fit my Laptop - I just recently purchased the NC1000 without doing much research and I think i'm going to have to return it since the fans are broken or something. I can barely feel the air coming out of the vents. After looking at the vents on the laptop now..I'm not sure which would be the best cooler for me..... I'm going to return this cooler, but now I need to find a replacement.

The area that is circled in red is where it gets the hottest. When I look at the NC1000 it seems like the top left vent where it gets the hottest doesn't even sit on the vents for the laptop cooler. I'm thinking i need a larger cooler like the NC2000? It seems like the vents are all on the sides too. Any other coolers that might be of better fit? FYI - its a 15.4" laptop.

    Thanks for the help!

I recommend the Vizo Ninja HS

2 adjustable fans that are silent, adjust one to hit your fan intake and the other a hot spot. worked wonders for an HP that had a similar layout as yours

I got a NZXT CRYO LX for my 17" laptop and its just big enough for that. Also my vents are in the same place as yours and it cools perfectly.

NZXT has a smaller model of the CRYO (CRYO-S) available at Newegg

This one's made for 15" laptops
