All I want is a wireless/blutooth version of the MX518 and id be happy. The models that are supposed to be close to it have atleast one thing that makes them very different and I dont like it.

Another vote here for the VX Revolution.

Especially in moderating an online forum and my browsing style, the thumb buttons and fit are amazing.

My thumb buttons, optimized for firefox and dreamweaver:
    bottom - next tab
    top - close tab

I vote for the Logitech MX Revolution. I recently purchased this mouse and it is easily one of my favourite mice including my Logitech MX1000 I use with my desktop.

I 'm going to buy new mouse and I need help...

Should I buy MX400 for use only with the laptop?

Or maybe VX or MX Revolution and use it with my desktop too??

    Any help would be appreciated..

The mouse gives you ultimate control. The touch pad and the pencil don't even come close.

Logitech MX 400 Performance mouse. I love this thing. So smooth and so many shortcut features for a decent price.

The VX is smaller but large enough for daily use. It was intended for use with laptops.
The MX is larger. It was intended for use with notebooks.

If you want to use one mouse for both applications, I suggest the smaller VX.

To give you an idea of size:

Well I'm going to see if the VX Revolution is all that. It runs about $80 at Best Buy, but my local Sam's Club has it for $35. Quite a difference.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826104178 - only gaming mouse u'll ever need. My cousin has this and nothing can beat it. I love the grayish dark design on it. Also these things feel amazing.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826104136 - just ordered this one yesterday. I don't like paying alot for mouses. That's well because they're mouses, lol. The mx310 i'm buying is pretty old I think but logitech has a lot of older amazing products anyways. I think that the $30 is worth it.

    No problem. :)

And yes, you'll find it on great sales every so often. Tigerdirect regular is 80, but it was listed for 30 not too long ago.

    Do share your experiences!

Well,I received the VX revolution a couple of hours ago!! :D :D

I 'm very happy!!It's very comfortable, has great response and the size is perfect for my hand.
The receiver is very small (careful not to lose it :p ),and can also be stored inside the mouse, very handy if you want to take it with you.

    Hmm,I don't like its design..
I also don't like one sidebutton at each side..I prefer them to be at the left both.
Well in that way the mouse can be used by right and left handed people,but...
