Im about to acquire a sager 9170. I'm new to shopping for accessories, what would be a good direction to go to acquire these items. Looking for stuff that is good quality, good price.

    Mouse - Logitech G400
Headset - Plantronics GameCom 777 (low price and sounds good)

Can't say for backpacks, I like my Case Logic but my PC is only 15.6 inches.

It would be better if we had more details.

Budget for all of those, wired or wireless mouse, size of the headset (something circumaural or a smaller one), capacity required of the backpack, etc...

My personal gear right now is:
    Mionix Naos 3200
Corsair Vengeance 2000 Headset, i use my HD25-1 II if i don't need a mic
    Everki Beacon backpack

You can find reviews for the 5000 at least. If the shape fits your hand and grip style, you'll love it, if they don't you'll hate it. It has the same shape as the Steelseries Ikari by the way.

My everki backpack is very sturdy and can fit the monster that is the G73, it's quite snug, but it fits.

No mat and it still tracks quite well.

It's better than the average padding i would say. Still, padding on a backpack only goes so far if you drop it from the second floor it's still gonna break. Padding is definitely better than on my Targus bag. The console sleeve is rather decently padded too.

Oh great well i wont be dropping it from a 2nd floor thats for sure XD... but since I will be riding to college on a bike i wanna make sure when i dismount and stop if my backpack hits the bike or a fence it wont do much. Heck even If am simply putting the backpack on the floor when i sit for class. But yeah I just wanted to know since I've never bought from this brand and they say a lot for great things about how many pockets it has and how well they are protected . Just wanted to make sure how good they really are from 1st hand experience.

P.S. to the OP from mouse right now a Logitech G400, G500 or G700 should work nice depending on budget wise. Backpacks well Swiss Army has been the only brand I've tested so far until i get my Everki but heck based on tijo's feedback I guess blindfolded i would recommend the Everki then. So yeah check those 2 brands for a backpack that fits your needs budget and style. In the mouse department im still searching myself but i might give the Mionix Naos 3200 or 5000 a try depending on the reviews they have nice features.

    My products are
    -Logitech MX518
-Plantronics GameCom 777 though i want to upgrade to the Corsair Vengeance 2000, the reviews make it sound so amazing.

As for backpack wise. To haul my behemoth Asus G73 i used the Alienware Orion backpack. Very amazing. I miss the impressive weight distribution and overall look. But i bought the Alienware M14x so with a smaller laptop i bought a smaller backpack, the Booq Mamba Shift the straps aren't as great but the pockets and organization is much much better.

I much prefer the Astro Scout but my Asus G73 didn't fit inside. and the Astro Scout is too large for my Alienware M14x.

For wired mouse I would recommend the Logitech MX518. I've had mine for 3 years now and it's been absolutely perfect. I've gamed on it quite a lot and the thing still performs like it's nice. It works on all surfaces and it's NEVER failed me in any situations. It fits all hands comfortably. The clicking is as non-fatiguing as can be and overall I can't think of a better mouse out there at any price level.

For a wireless mouse, I just ordered a Logitech Marathon Mouse M705. I heard it's one of the better mouses you can buy and great for the price. I'm pretty high on Logitech mice in general and if the reviews and overall word of mouth is so positive I'm guessing I'll be pretty happy with it as well.
