I have an Acer Aspire Timeline 4810T laptop and I need a new power cord since my dog destroyed it (lol).

I found one on ebay ( ORIGINAL GENUINE 65W CHARGER ACER Aspire Timeline 3810T 4810T 5810T PA-1650-02 | eBay) which has the same power specifications, but because my original cord is a "green" style (power saver), I'm worried about buying the wrong cord.

If the power specifications are the same as my original, can I use it and not run the chance of damaging my original battery(green battery) and laptop? Or do I need one which is a green power saver friendly cord?

    Thanks

As long as all the specs are up the same you won't have any problem at all.
