I've been looking for a cooler - I've read all the threads, but the one question I still have is --

Should the cooler blow air toward your laptop or pull air away from it?

And how can you tell which product does what? I was about ready to get a cheapo Vantec one and then read that it pull heat away from your laptop.

I'm concerned that would counter the fan intake built into the laptop...

    Thanks in advance...

I think you are on the right track, you want a notebook cooler that doesn't compete with the internal fans built-in with the notebook.

Does the Zalman push air toward the laptop? It looks nice even though higher priced --

I'm pretty sure it does push air toward the laptop, although you may want to make sure with someone who actually owns one.
