Shopping for easy to use, personal laser, not prone to jams or other problems.
Do you recommend the 1320?
Is there a better choice? Must have small footprint.
Thanks,
-
my daughter loves hers- fast, great printing, relatively small footprint

I have 1320 for a while now and yes, I would recommend it.
Double-sided printing is a definite plus, we had a paper jam maybe once (if ever) in two years.
Print quality is very good, there is no sign of powder/cartridge problems. Printed documents (eg books) show no problems year or two after they were printed.
Good print speed.
Relatively small footprint.
Cartridge lasts a really long time (as with most good laser printers).
When combined with a printer server, 1320 makes for an awesome small network printer.
All in all definitely worth the money. -
Some of the user reviews on ZDNET are pretty scary reading for someone who's looking for a goofproof printer.
Overall, users give it a 6.8 out of 10. -
We had thousands of pages printed so far w/o any problems.
It's been connected through print server from day one and used by 5-6 PCs.
What concerns do you have with this printer?
Who has experience with HP Laserjet 1320?
