Okay I am searching for a good laptop bag....anyone have this one? I am getting desperate here....I am running out of time...I fly out of here at the end of the month and want to make sure that I have a good, sturdy and comfortable laptop back to take on the plane with me...if you have this particular bag, let me know how you like it...I want it for my Acer 2012.

    This is the Targus Gravity:

I've never used this bag before, but I have had prior versions of Targus bags. They held up very well and had a ton of pockets from what I recall. You might also consider the Jansport Optimizer if you're looking for a larger bag.

Just wanted to add a note about that targus backpack you commented on. I also have an Acer 2012Lmi. I read the specs on the backpack and it says that it fits "standard 15.4" inch screens." I know my notebook has a 15.4" WIDESCREEN. So i think you might want to investigate whether your notebook can actually fit snuggly in that size of a backpack.

They probably mean but didn't say widescreen. 15.4" is not a standard size display.

I have this bag and I have a 15.4 inch wide screen. My computer fits in the bag just fine and so dose everything else. I have school starting again on the 23rd of this month and I got it to replace my old laptop bag the more traditional shoulder strap kind. It wasen't holding enough stuff and its to much weight on one arm. The gravity bag is very nice and comfortable. So far I just put my notebook in, power supply, mouse, cd's, mp3 player, palm, one book, one folder, head phones. So it still has room to spare and the weight on your shoulders isn't to bad at all. I would say with the laptop in you probably only want to carry 1 book at a time, but could carry serveral folders. Hope this helps, I'd tell you more but I haven't had the chance to really use it. Just so you know I got mine at staples for 50$

hey kyle04, what kind of notebook do you have? That's a dell 9100 pic under your name, and well, if thats your notebook, then I don't think it'll fit in that targus bag: Device Compatibility 13" x 2" x 11" (9100: 14.1 x 2 x 10.8). Well, it might fit, but kinda snug.

Just got the bag! I have a inspiron 9100 and it fits fine. I can still zip it up with plenty of space to spare. I have my notebook, power cords, pda, and some books in it and I have room to spare. Overall, I really like the backpack. It feels very comfortable even packed with a lot of stuff. Also I got mine on sale at ebags for $44.99 and it ships free!
