I'm looking into buying this printer, but I was wondering if I should be looking at something else. FYI my budget is 100 bucks. Thanks for your input

I have been using an F4180 for almost a year now, it has proved to be an excellent budget solution. My primary use for the printer is printing text documents. It's relatively fast and has good quality text, especially on the higher quality level settings. The higher quality levels make text look like it came out of a laser printer.
Ink cartridges are kind of small compared to the ones I have had in older printers, and do not last as long as my old Deskjet 6122's.
I am not an expert on scanning nor picture print quality but picture prints appear to be sharp and printed pictures look pretty close to what they are on my screen. Scanned documents are clear and readable, no complaints.
It's important to note that this printer, like many others, does not come with a cable; you will need one to connect it to your computer.
I think it's a great printer and I recommend it. I picked it up for $80 at Best Buy and got free paper with it. Search around for the best deals.
Who here uses the HP F4180 printer? Opinions?
