Just wondering out of curiosity if there are any other members here who still sport an MX Revolution. I can't believe it's already been 4 years since it was released, but my mouse is still taking it like a champ. The MX Rev + uberoptions makes for a very efficient macro tasking combo. The ergonomics are still holding up well even though the outer grip is starting to peel. DPI is good enough for just about anything outside of hardcore gaming. The battery life on mine can still hold a charge for one week until the next recharge. I actually bought a second copy this past summer in case my original dies on me. The only thing I find that makes this mouse seem dated is the large usb dongle (and of course, the lack of darkfield), but those two tech improvements seem moot for DTR notebooks.

I still have mine, and I love it.

I've got one, use an oversized Steelseries QCK+ mousepad with it. It's a pleasure.

I "replaced" mine with a g500 a couple months ago, because my revo suffered the double-click malfunction. It still works and is usable for standard stuff, but it was REALLY annoying for games. Served me well for nearly 4 yrs, now it's happily retired to backup position.

I'm still using my MX Revolution but it will be replaced soon. The battery doesn't hold a charge, I only get about 3-4 hours on it now. I called Logitech and they are sending me a Performance MX replacement. I thought about buying a new mouse until I realized my mouse was only 2 years old so I could get it fixed/replaced under warranty.
If I don't like the Performance MX I'm going to get a Razer Mamba or maybe a Cyborg RAT 9 if it is reviewed well. -
and tadaa, good as new -
I wished I got one for work. Been sporting a standard Dell bluetooth mouse there.

there are 4 thumb buttons on the performance:
-the zoom button
-forwards + backwards buttons
-the desktop button -
Sorry, I should have written those buttons in earlier.

ah...i forgot that the wheel could middle-click lol.
what on earth do you use the buttons for? lol
personally, i've used gestures to back/forward instead of the buttons. gives me an extra 2 keys that way -
I assigned macro keys to them for programs and games using uberoptions, but I also assigned media functions to them for my video/music apps. The extra button seriously let's you do so much more

I still use my MX Revolution. I love it. Fits my right hand so perfectly, and it's very comfortable. I should get a backup in case this one dies too. That's a good idea.
What's this "double-click" problem? Sometimes I get something like interference, where the mouse won't move or do anything for a second. It's like the signal becomes jammed.
Who still uses an MX Revolution?
